Foresight Friday: Turmoil Reveals Truths

Card Drawn: Ten of Humans, Reversed

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

We survived another week, friends! Millions turned up around the world to protest the antics and policies of the current administration. Let's keep that energy going, shall we?

Now, on to this week's card. 

I'm sticking with the Good Omens tarot, and after a ridiculously clumsy shuffle, the card that has presented itself to us is: The 10 of Humans in the reversed position. 

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what is depicted on the 10 of humans card. It kind of resembles a bunch of drawers stacked on top of each other amidst some colorful objects (could be valuables, could be flowers, I truly can't say 🤷‍♀️).

Regardless of the image, if this card were upright, it would represent abundance and financial stability. But... it's reversed. 

I'm getting a whole heap of instability from this card, and considering the absolute shit show the stock market has been this past week, it's no wonder!

The financial situations of individuals and nations alike have been unwillingly strapped into a nightmarish journey on "Mr. Tariff's Wild Ride". 

Livelihoods are being toyed with, industries and resources are being threatened. 

All of this sounds really bad, and it is. But, hear me out, this may just be the beginning of the end for the Orange One. 

Things are shaking so suddenly and violently that the foundation is rattling. 

The metaphorical morter that holds his base together is crumbling, resulting in stones beginning to come loose. 

These stones, once released, can finally see that the foundation was slapped together with lies and false promises. 

When things get shook up, things that have been concealed can surface. 

So, it looks like the cards are saying that the wild ride isn't over. I think we can survive it if we focus on thing's that fulfill us. There's not much we can do but to prepare, but we must also focus on those good things that give us joy and comfort. 

Friends, pets, loved ones, art, music, cooking. Whatever it is, we must use it as a shield to protect as much of our peace as possible. 

Hang in there... we've got this.
