Foresight Friday: Step Back & Look at the Big Picture
Divination Method: Labyrinth Tarot
Card Drawn: 8 of Junk, Reversed
Key Word: Overly Critical, Focused on Minutiae, Financial Insecurity, Lack of Confidence
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Welp, another week of this dumpster fire, downward spiral to dystopia is in the books! On the bright side, it is now officially Spring!
The weather it's still a bit moody, but temps are slowly tending upward and have put me in the mood to start planning this year's garden.
But you're here for a card trading so, let's get to it...
I felt the need to switch things up this week. The deck that I'm Drawn to this week is the Labyrinth Tarot.
It didn't make me shuffle for too long before our card appeared with a flip. Which card is it? It's the 8 of Junk, Reversed.
The image on the card is simply 8, seemingly random objects...but these 8 are made up of 4 pairs.
This card is here to tell us that we're focusing too much on little things.
Not to say that these things aren't important, because they certainly might be. But we're SO focused on them that we're missing the bigger picture.
This could be being laser focused on one thing, trying so desperately to get it perfect, that we're neglecting other areas that need attention.
It could also be manifesting as us trying to give our attention to everything all at once... which splits our focus and tends to bring in less than stellar results.
In other words, things are flying at us so fast that we're either catching one thing and making it our world, or we're trying to catch 'em all like they're frikken Pokémon (aaaaand were probably dropping most of them).
We are off kilter, have lost our balance, and are drastically out of sorts.
This card is telling us that it's time to take a step back, find our footing, and take a good long look at the Big Picture.
Once we've reassessed the situation at large, we can regroup with a better strategy for completing what needs to be done.
Now is not the time to operate without a plan.
Set the goal, and major benchmarks that need to be met, but don't focus too much on the details. We have to set our minds to achieving our goal using whatever means present themselves. Balance & Adaptability are our two best friends.
Alrighty, folks. Take a Step Back, a Deep Breath, and a good long look at the Big Picture. I have all kinds of faith that we'll find our way.
Until Next Time, Pixilators!
