Foresight Friday: Don't Underestimate What Lies Within
Divination Method: The Wild Unknown Tarot
Card Drawn: Strength
Key Words: Mastery of Emotions
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Friday is here again in more than ready for the weekend. I made it through my own Hanged Man struggles of last week, but I can't say I'm happy about it.
Let's see what this week's card has to say...
We're still staying with The Wild Unknown Tarot. This Week's shuffle was a tad long, but the card that eventually presented itself to us is: Strength.
Depicted on the card is a bushy-maned Lion positioned beneath a blazing sun.
The Lion gazes steadily forward while gently holding a long stemmed rose in its powerful jaws.
The sun and Lion are obvious symbols of great power. But, this card is not raw, unfettered, or wild in nature.
This is exudes a calm, controlled, and gentle kind of strength.
I see this as the next step forward from last week's Hanged Man.
What that means is that while the brunt of our trials may be over... there are still, to paraphrase Robert Frost, miles to go before we sleep.
The Strength card has appeared to let us know that we possess the inner strength needed to continue dealing with the obstacles that life has seen fit to set on our path.
This may stir up some strong emotions, but the key is to not let them get the better of us. Much like last week, keeping a level head will be far more effective than losing our cool.
We are powerful beings, and if we harness our power while treating ourselves (and those in our path) with empathy and compassion, there's nothing we can't do.
If the week gets tough, look to this bit of wisdom from Ralph Waldo Emerson:
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us".
We got this, fam.
