My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

Hey there, friends! The weather in Pixieland has been GLOOOOOOMY, but I've been managing to do the things, even if I've been super sleepy while doing them.

Alrighty, let's see if I can push past the dreary weather and knock out this week's reading...

I finished Buffy and am on the last season of Angel, so my brain is still wandering through the land of Slayers & Champions. Which means - yup, you guessed it - we're still using the Buffy the Vampire Slayer tarot.

The card that has presented itself to us this week is The Lovers.

Depicted on the card are Willow and Tara, locked in a magical embrace that has them floating above a footbridge.

This card is about partnerships, duality, and is usually an indicator of important choices that need to be made.

The 2 trees on the card - one with flames & one that's very garden of Eden-y - represent the duality of our lives. Freedom vs, Obligation, Solemnity vs Frivolity, Desire vs Duty, Truth vs Fiction, Short Cuts vs Hard Work. Our daily choices between these things determine the direction of our lives.

We've been met with a lovely, comforting set of circumstances that are making us feel the warm fuzzies. While that's super cool, there's some choices to make that  - if delayed - could altar the circumstances and connections surrounding those choices.

Remember that with close partnerships & connections comes a certain degree of vulnerability and a need for honesty. We must keep that in mind and remember to be open and honest with those that may be affected by our decisions (including ourselves). 

Keeping the lines of communication open  will serve us much better than keeping others in the dark...even if we think that doing so is for their own good. Withholding our thoughts and feelings in this instance will only foster disharmony and distrust. 

Alternatively, if we share those thoughts and feelings with our closest peeps, they may have valuable insight that will help us to make a choice.

So let's go out there this week with the mindset of connection, open communication with our partners, and making swift and insightful choices.
