Foresight Friday: It's Conflict & Chaos vs. Compassion & Grace

Divination Method: The Labyrinth Tarot

Card Drawn: Five of Poles

Key Words:  Conflict, Chaos, Frustration

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

I don't know about you, but I've had one of those weeks in which, even though I've accomplished things....but it doesn't FEEL like I've accomplished a damn thing. Oh well, I'll snap out of...whatever this is. lol

Alrighty, let's get down to business and see what these cards have to say...

I' decided to switch things up and reach for The Labyrinth Tarot this week. While shuffling, the deck seemingly 'cut' itself and flipped the cut portion over revealing our card: the Five of Poles.

Depicted on this card are five various poles. Two are crossed at each end of the card with the fifth one parked strategically in the center between each crossed pair.

The Five of Poles card from The Labyrinth Tarot.

This card represents chaos and confusion that often results in frustration and conflict. So, while this doesn't seem like the greatest outlook for the week to come, it's not as bad as it seems.

This is the beauty of doing these readings. They give us a heads up so that we can be prepared and be able to deal with whatever arises.

Since Mercury went into its retrograde phase a couple days ago, this card makes a lot of sense. We've moved into a period that effects communication and understanding.

Knowing that, we can absolutely expect there to be miscommunication and confusion at some point. These instances are represented by the two sets of crossed poles.

This card is here to remind us that the key to reaching a state of clarity and peaceful resolutions is represented by the fifth pole in the center.

We must acquire a state of balance and remain objective in order for the path forward to be revealed.

Looking at the players in the situation with compassion and grace will help us to calmly find a resolution. That resolution could be as simple as choosing to NOT participate...much like pole number five.

After all, it's difficult for conflict to survive without active participants.
