My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Howdy, Peeps! It's been an emotional roller coaster of a week thanks to midterm elections, but now it's time to move on to other things.
So, let’s take a peek at this week's card...
This week’s card from The Wild Unknown Tarot is The Devil.
Depicted on this card is a rather large looking goat backed by darkness. This wooly goat stares at us as he seemingly blocks our way. Who could blame us for his two long and dangerous looking horns giving us pause as he stands firmly on his rock hard hooves...which, incidentally, are engulfed in flames?
This image invokes a feeling that we are trapped where we are. We can't possibly keep moving forward, because our way is blocked by this ominous looking creature, and we cannot see what is beyond him.
Or...could we?
The Devil represents all the things we THINK that we want...or that are standing in the way of getting to what we want.
But, let's think about this for a second. This devil of a goat is literally just standing there. He's not in a stance that suggests he's about to charge us...all we need do is walk around him.
Whether our perceived limitations are fears, obsessions, intrusive thoughts of self-doubt, or someone who keeps telling us we'll never be able to do it, all we need do is walk around them.
The darkness beyond where the Devil stands is certainly unsettling...but no more unsettling than this feeling of being stuck or trapped.
We need to let Hope, Determination, and the Support of our loved ones act as our symbolic flashlight as we explore what lie ahead.
Remember, friends: Fear is nothing but False Evidence Appearing Real. See it for the illusion it is.
Until Next Time, Pixilators!
Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
