Foresight Friday: Delve into The Darkness to Rediscover The Light
Divination Method: Supernatural Tarot
Card Drawn: The Tower, Reversed
Key Words: Resisting Change, Avoidance
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Friday has come around again, peeps! The weather has been damp and dreary here, but Mr. Chai has been extra cuddly so, I'm managing to keep warm.
But, you're not here to read about my week of cat cuddles. Let's pull this week’s card...
We're sticking with the Supernatural tarot this week. (Because I said so, that's why.)
After a bit of a shuffle, the card that presented itself to us today is The Tower in the reversed position.
Let me pause right here to tell you: Don't' Freak Out!
Ok, moving on...
Depicted on this card is Amara. The sister of Chuck (god), also known as The Darkness. (Again I say: Don't freak out.)
People see The Tower and they lose their minds, but really it shows up because we need to pay attention. It's when we DON'T listen to the message it brings that things go to shit.
And that's really the message this week.
The Tower is about change and upheaval...in the reversed position it means we're avoiding the changes that are going on (or that need to occur).
This is why Amara is perfect for this card. So many of us spend our lives trying to avoid The Darkness, but the truth of the matter is: there is no light without the dark. Darkness and Destruction are simply the complimentary opposites of Light and Creation. Neither can exist without the other.
It can definitely be scary and unnerving, but if we delve into The Darkness and deal with what's waiting there, we will emerge all the better for it.
We just need to accept the inevitable, and allow The Darkness to work its transformative magic on us so that we can discover The Light once more.
Until Next Time, Pixilators!
