Foresight Friday: Look to The Empress for Support
Divination Method: The Labyrinth Tarot
Card Drawn: The Empress
Key Words: Nurturing, Creation, Tough Love, Encouragement
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Welcome back, everyone! I do hope that you were all successful in both avoiding and becoming overtly cranky last week.
I wish I could say this next week was going to be easier, but it will have its struggles.
This week’s card is The Empress. Since I chose to stick with the Labyrinth Tarot, that means that depicted on the card is Toby’s mother (aka Sarah’s Stepmother).
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying she’s the reason we’re potentially in for a rough week. If anything, she’s here BECAUSE it’s going to be rough...and she can help.
Why is the week rough? Well...have you been paying attention?? Not only has the political climate here in the U.S. hit some metaphorical land mines, but Mercury has also gone retrograde.
Expect tensions to be high and beware of miscommunication that can lead to escalated conflict.
So, what role does the Empress play in all of this? She is here to provide us with a nurturing environment amidst the chaos.
She reminds us that a quiet, confident strength can often be the most formidable; and that we can be kind and supportive without being pushovers.
The Empress can also indicate creation & success. This jives well with another astrological event that has taken place: Jupiter entering Aries.
Jupiter in Aries, much like the Empress, inspires us to have faith in ourselves, reminds and encourages us to follow our dreams, to show initiative, and to accept new beginnings.
That isn’t to say we should accept the fundamental infringement of rights certain government entities are planning to unleash upon half of the U.S. population; we simply need to accept that this fight is indeed upon us, and that there will be much work ahead.
The Empress and Jupiter in Aries reassure us in our resolve to embark on a new adventure. That said, with Mercury in retrograde, it may be best to keep new adventures in the planning stages for now (unless, of course, this is something that’s already been planned...then proceed...just do so with extra attention to detail).
We also need to make sure we are approaching others with empathy and support. Many of us are struggling for a multitude of reasons...in just as many ways.
It’s time for us to stick together and to get creative in finding solutions to our problems. When we support and care for each other (and ourselves) with creativity, compassion, and conviction there’s nothing we can’t do.
Until Next Time, Pixilators!
Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
