Foresight Friday: Look to the Lion and Moulin Rouge
Divination Method: The Wild Unknown Tarot
Card Drawn: Strength
Key Words: Mastery of Emotions
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Happy Friday, folks! The holidays are fast approaching, and life has been a bit...hectic, but I do hope you’ve all been carving out some time to appreciate your loved ones. Surrounding ourselves with our peeps – even if it’s only virtually – is the key to getting through all the hustle and bustle. So, keep that Lovers card in mind for the next few weeks (hell, for the next few years).
On to this week’s card!
I stuck with The Wild Unknown this week and the card that presented itself to us is Strength.
This card shows an image of a male lion in all his big-maned glory. The sun shines brightly over him, and the infinity symbol that appears on his forehead glows with the same colors, implying that his own power reflects the infinite powers of The Universe.
Our friend Strength is Focused. Patient, and filled with Compassion.
His demeanor is calm and composed. He is in control of his emotions; but that doesn’t mean he won’t pounce to protect what’s his.
While he is obviously physically strong (hello: LION!), it is the INNER strength that comes into play here.
Whether the strength we’re going to need in the coming week is for ourselves, our loved ones, or both; we must remember that every decision we make (or action that we take) should be rooted in the very source of that strength.
What is that source? Is it the Universal strength that burns in the lion's (and our) Third Eye? I believe that’s a source of guidance that helps us navigate situations rather than the source of the strength that helps us endure them. To know where we gain our strength, we need only look to see what the lion is holding in his mouth: A single rose.
Get it now? The source of our strength is Love. It really is that simple. We can find the strength to get through anything in Love. Love for ourselves, love for our friends & family, the love we receive from others, hell – even love for the planet. Because, if we’re living our lives even remotely right, then the reason for pretty much everything we do is love.
Like they said in Moulin Rouge “Love is like oxygen. Love is a many splendored thing. Love lifts us up where we belong...All you need is love.”
To take this one step further I’ll go to a Bowie tune from Moulin Rouge (Nature Boy – originally recorded by Nat King Cole & written by Eden Ahbez) which states “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
So, this week builds off last week. Continue the love fest and keep on keeping on.
Stay strong, my lovelies...we got this.
Until Next Time, Pixilators!
Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
