Foresight Friday: This Week Cuts Like a Knife, In a Good Way
Divination Method: Supernatural Tarot
Card Drawn: King of Blades
Key Words: Powerful, Experienced, Cunning, Logical
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
Hi everyone! I hope you were all able to stand your ground and get done whatever it is you needed to last week...and hopefully there was no need for any bitches to become intimately acquainted with your blades. lol
I stayed with the Supernatural Join the Hunt tarot this week, since we’re approaching another Mercury Retrograde period, which means I need something that’s going to get me straight to the point.
So which card graced us with its presence this week? Well, 🎵guess who’s back, back again? Bladey’s back, tell a friend.🎵 Lol Yes, The King of Blades is back, but unlike his last appearance, this time he’s in the upright position (Thank the GODS!).
If you recall from his last appearance, The King of Blades is Cain: The First Son, Father of Murder, and Wielder of The First Blade, and Bearer of “The Mark”. When he was separated from The First Blade Cain was smart, powerful, cunning, calculating, experienced and feared…but, he was in control of his faculties and any actions that were taken were done with a fair amount of consideration.
Basically, Cain has seen some shit; and as a result knows how to handle himself in pretty much any situation.
In the upright position, this card indicates a reputation for being strong, forthright, skilled, logical and experienced.
With Mercury going retrograde on the 27th, our ability to be rely on our skills and experience will allow us to continue being the badass in our respective stories.
In the reversed position I associated this card with Sting’s “King of Pain." In the upright position, however I hear a different raspy voice crooning in my brain. This time I hear Bryan Adams, because this week cuts like a knife...but it feels so right!
Why? Because we’re relying on our cunning, skill, and experience to be able to cut through the bullshit and to cut away all that is unnecessary in order to get things done.
So go forth with strength and confidence in your abilities. You’ve totally got this.
Until Next Time, Pixilators
Wishing You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
