Foresight Friday: Casey Kasem is the Key to a Good Week
Divination Method: The Goddess Guidance Oracle
Card Drawn: Mawu
Key Word: Mother Earth
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I feel like the last several weeks have just been one great big frikken roller coaster. I personally had some really nice and meaningful days/moments…but there sure was a whole heap of chaos and frustration to counter them.
So, what does this coming week have in store? Let’s take a look…
The creation Goddess Mawu is bringing us her motherly guidance. Last time she appeared was in December, and we were called to connect with nature and embrace her aspect as the ultimate recycler. This time though, that’s not exactly the vibe I’m getting.
Mawu is a Goddess of creation and of the moon. She created life from the clay and water of the Earth itself and rules over the night sky. Take this and couple it with the knowledge that Mercury goes direct on the 22nd and there’s a full moon on the 24th tells me that it’s time for us to do a little work on grounding, centering, and starting to create what comes next.
We need to connect with the Earth and once again feel its stabilizing presence in our lives so that we can then create the next thing that needs to happen for us.
So, this time around it’s more about getting our hands in the dirt and marveling at the moon and the stars above us. Be inspired by the enormity of the heavens, and be supported and have the safety strength of the earth beneath our feet on which to can build the foundation of our next project.
We can shake off the chaos of the last few weeks and breathe again for a while. Mama Mawu has got our backs, and she is going to provide us with what we need to soothe our souls so that we can get to work.
Whatever the week brings, listen to the immortal words of Casey Kasem and all will be well:
“Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.”
Until Next Time, Pixilators
