My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

We’re taking the Supernatural Join the Hunt tarot deck for another spin this week. In last week’s reading it told us if we kept our goals realistic and seized available opportunities we would achieve - or be well on our way to achieving - success.

This week, however, we’re asked to examine what being successful actually means.

In its upright position, the Nine of Pentagrams suggests confidence, material gains, financial security, and a sense of comfort and stability.

In the reversed position though, the card suggests we may be putting far more emphasis on the material in our pursuit of success. 

The Nine of Pentagrams, reversed tells us to look deeper and figure out what truly makes one’s life rich. What is the true source of stability in our lives?

Finances are important; having a reasonable abundance of wealth and highly successful careers are also important, but they are not what give our life meaning.

If there is any lesson we should have learned from the madness that was 2020, it is that even though money may make life easier to live…it is the company of those we love and an ability to find joy in the little things that truly matters.

So, if we take a little time to look at what it is that really brings us joy, makes us feel safe, and makes our lives feel meaningful, then I believe we’ll all be much more likely to achieve that feeling of success we’ve been looking for.

If anyone is feeling a little disappointed that this card wasn’t upright, that’s ok. Just remember that, in either position, this card is a Nine. Nine is a Divine number, and I personally view this as a reminder that The Universe has our backs.

The following words from Oscar Wilde sum up this reading quite nicely: “Ordinary riches can be stolen; real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.”
