Foresight Friday: Master the Spinning of Your Chosen Web
Divination
Method: The Wild
Unknown Tarot
Card Drawn: 8 of Pentacles
Key Word(s): Craftsmanship, Skill
My Foresight Friday Interpretation:
This week’s message once again comes from The Wild Unknown Tarot, because I am OBSESSED (And, well, that’s the deck that yelled “Pick Me! Pick Me!” in my head, lol)! So let’s get to shakin’ that divination bacon!
We’ve drawn another card from the suit of Pentacles this week. I shuffled the deck like crazy, and probably longer that the Universe wanted me to, because this card leapt from the deck as if to scream “ENOUGH ALREADY!”.
Pentacles are generally seen as “good” cards to draw, but the truth is, all cards are good, because they guide us toward what we need to know, to do, and to be. So what does the 8 of Pentacles guide us toward this week? It guides us toward achieving mastery in a skill.
Now, this doesn’t mean we have to become a Master Craftsperson in the span of a week, and we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves as we work on improving our skills.
Even a spider needs time to truly hone her craft.
The spider on the card reminds us of this.Spiders are born weavers and spinners, yet even they don’t always get
their lines perfectly spaced…and yet, their work is still beautiful and awe
inspiring.
Some of us may not currently have a skill that needs working on. If not, this is the week to start something new! Start a new hobby, or pick up one from the past that has been all but forgotten.
Whether the skills to be mastered feel like old friends or new, give them the time and attention they need, and have fun!!
Paint, sing, dance, cook, write, learn a new language, take up herbalism, practice your algebra, work on web design, or perfect the perfect Cat Eye with your eyeliner; whatever proverbial web you are drawn to spin - do that.
Until
Next Time Pixilators!
Wishing
You Peace, Love, & Pixie Dust
