Foresight Friday: A Cycle Has Completed, but The Journey Doesn’t End

My Foresight Friday Interpretation:

New deck, who dis? I’m super excited because this week I get to use a deck I have wanted for a very long time, but kept putting off buying for one reason or another. Well, after my yule gift from my Bestest Friend in All the Land spent a month hiding in the nooks and crannies of the overworked postal service it arrived at my door and The Wild Unknown Tarot was inside!! So, let’s take a peek at it has to tell us.

This past week the U.S. and the rest of the world was holding its collective breath as we approached the Inauguration of Joe Biden as our 46^th President. We listened to the Strength card from the Threads of Fate oracle and held our shit together, while we hoped for the best…but braced for the worst.

Well with today’s draw of the Ten of Pentacles, it seems like we can all relish in a well-earned
sigh of relief. If we examine the card, we can see why.

A Radiating Rainbow of concentric circles is a simple and satisfying backdrop to an arrangement of pentacles that appear to be bursting out from the center. The number 10 and concentric circles both represent wholeness and completion. I also see the circles as a representation of a “ripple effect”. When we add in the outwardly radiating colors of the rainbow, the term “full spectrum” comes to mind.

Combine all of these with the Earthy Pentacle - which embodies all things to do with home, worldly goods, and finances - and we get a card that says we’re looking at the arrival of spiritual and/or material abundance. We’ve completed a journey and are now able to reap the benefits. So it looks like we’re in for pretty good week!

We shouldn’t be stingy with the benefits we’ve earned though. This is a time to spread the wealth. Whether we’re spreading money, joy, or wisdom will depend on individual situations, but we should definitely be paying it forward.

This cycle may have come to completion…but, our journey doesn’t end here!

This newfound success will be the foundation upon which we build future achievements. So, we can take some time to enjoy this feeling of accomplishment and relief, but resting on our laurels would be a mistake. We shouldn’t take our good fortune for granted; we should think on how this success can help us achieve whatever it is that comes next.
