Honor the Seasons of My Soul
My Interpretation:
This card makes me
kind of excited for the coming week. Caribou is a SURVIVOR, BABY!
They are made for enduring harsh conditions, and utilize
their special skills and creativity in order to overcome obstacles. They are
one with the land, and nature, and trust this connection to guide them.
This magnificent creature is highly adaptive to its
environment. Their fur is composed in a manner that insulates them from
freezing water, their snouts are perfect for scrounging up food from the earth,
and their hooves are broad enough to help them walk upon the snow, as if
wearing snowshoes. Both male and female caribou grow antlers, making both
capable of being formidable warriors. These antlers are shed in winter so that
that their bodies can use less energy by carrying less weight.
So what does this all mean for you? When Caribou appears it
means it is time to listen, and – as the affirmation states – honor the seasons
of your soul. That means, if you’re tired rest, if you’re restless take the
time to tune in and figure out why (then do what you need to overcome it…or
embrace it), if it’s time to move (weather that be exercise, gardening, or work)
then move, if it’s time to create then CREATE. Trust your instincts!!!
Be mindful of conflict now…be sure to stand up for yourself,
and what is right, but don’t get your antlers locked with someone else in the
process, that doesn’t do anyone any good.
The best course of action right now is to lead by example
(IE: wash your hands, keep your distance, and stay the fuck home! 😘).
Caribou brings us the strength, creativity, and
resourcefulness to get through even the toughest of times. For me, the
affirmation really does say it all…and it once again brings home the message of
solitude AND togetherness. Again, it’s all about balance. Not always easy…but, Caribou
says it’s totally doable.
Stay Safe, Pixilators!
Wishing you Peace, Love, and Pixie Dust
I was reminded today that this time at home can be a gift. I'm working on gardening, walking, cleaning the garage, scanning old slides into digital. There is opportunity amidst the upheaval to our regular. Find it, embrace it, seize it, persevere.
ReplyDeleteYESSSS!!! There will, of course, be difficult moments, but finding the opportunities that await us in this time of upheaval is key! I'm so glad you're taking advantage of your time at home.
