Foresight Friday: Be Vigilant, Not a Vigilante

My Foresight Friday Interpretation: 

It's Friday!! As exciting as that is, I'm even more excited that the humidity seems to have dropped for a bit (phew!).

Now, let's get down to business...

I'm still amped up about season 2 of House of the Dragon so I'm sticking with my Game of Thrones tarot.

After a ridiculously short shuffle, the card that presented itself to us is the Page of Swords. 

Depicted on this card is one of the masked "Sons of the Harpy" - the underground group of slavers that were opposed to Daenerys' rule over Meereen (largely because she freed their slaves). 

I, personally find this to be an odd depiction for this card... because the Sons of the Harpy are more Vigilante than Vigilant. But, perhaps the author & artist were thinking this card is more from Dany's perspective... since she would have to be alert and vigilant in order to evade attack.  (That's how I'm making sense of it, anyway.)

Basically, this card is telling us to stay on our toes. News of some sort is heading out way. 

We may encounter contracts or documents of some kind that need signing. If so, we must pay close attention to detail to ensure we're not getting a raw deal. 

Whatever our dealings this week, we should only listen to trusted sources.

This card can also indicate a strong sense of justice... so long as it is not twisted or used as an excuse to skirt the proper channels because they don't see things the way we do. 

Think of it this way,  in this scenario we want to be Vigilant like Dany and keep an eye out for possible danger or difficulties. 

What we want to avoid is becoming self-appointed "Make Meereen Great Again" Vigilantes like the Sons of the Harpy. 

Basically, this is a week in which we must rely on intellect and avoid being swept away by emotion.
